How long is the final exam? The final exam length depends upon the state or region where you received your speeding ticket. Many exams are 25 questions long, but some are longer.
What should I do if I am involved in an accident? If there is damage to the vehicle, stop and exchange information. If someone is hurt, render aid and notify law enforcement. If you hit an unattended vehicle, find the driver or write your name and address on a note explaining what happened. You must also include the owner's name and address if the vehicle you are driving doesn't belong to you.
I know that all children under age 12 should ride in the back seat, especially if the car is equipped with airbags. What about the elderly; are they safe with airbags? The elderly, like all other passengers and drivers, should be properly restrained with the seat as far back as possible and the individual's back firmly supported. All occupants should also keep arms and feet away from where the airbags will deploy.
Is your website secure? Yes. Our course provider's website is secure.
What will I learn by taking your course? We cover all manner of subjects on safe driving. You will learn about driving in unsafe conditions like fog, rain, and snow. You will learn about the 3-second rule and safe following distances. You will learn about the dangers of drunk driving. And you will learn how to safely operate a vehicle, include tips like how to back out of a parking space and how to handle a skid. All that and more when you take our defensive driving/traffic school course.
Can you give me an extension on my traffic school due date? No. Only the court that you were cited from can grant an extension. You need to contact that Court.
What is the course cancellation/refund policy? Our course provider says, New York Users Only - A full refund will be made to any student who cancels the enrollment contract within 30 days of registering for the course and prior to attempting the final examination. The COURSE PROVIDER will terminate, without notice, the enrollment of any student who has not successfully completed the course within 30 days. All registration fees paid are due and refundable when the course of instruction is discontinued by the COURSE PROVIDER, preventing a student from completing the course, or the enrollment of the student was procured as a result of any misrepresentation in advertising, promotional materials of the COURSE PROVIDER, or representation made by the owner or employee of the COURSE PROVIDER. All refunds will be issued within 30 days following receipt of a permissible request for cancellation.
My due date is approaching fast. How far ahead do I need to complete the course? We recommend you complete our course at least 10 business days prior to your due date. That will give you enough to mail your completed certificate to your court. When you receive your certificate from us, you are responsible for mailing it to your court on time.
