I paid the court my fee to attend traffic school. Why do you charge me again? Most courts charge an administrative fee you that must pay to be allowed to attend a traffic school. That fee is separate from and in addition to our tuition.
What will I learn by taking your course? We cover all manner of subjects on safe driving. You will learn about driving in unsafe conditions like fog, rain, and snow. You will learn about the 3-second rule and safe following distances. You will learn about the dangers of drunk driving. And you will learn how to safely operate a vehicle, include tips like how to back out of a parking space and how to handle a skid. All that and more when you take our defensive driving/traffic school course.
When registering, do I select my home county? Select the county in which you received your ticket.
What should I do if I am involved in an accident? If there is damage to the vehicle, stop and exchange information. If someone is hurt, render aid and notify law enforcement. If you hit an unattended vehicle, find the driver or write your name and address on a note explaining what happened. You must also include the owner's name and address if the vehicle you are driving doesn't belong to you.
How long do I have to finish the course? As long as you need to get your certificate to the court within the court?s deadline. Give yourself plenty of time for mailing your certificate. We recommend you finish at least 10 business days prior to your deadline.
I am a new driver. Do you offer first-time driver or teen driver education? Yes! In many states there is a teen/first-tie driver training course available. Check our site to see.
I am able to adjust the position of my steering wheel. Which position is most likely to minimize injury but provide the greatest protection from an airbag? Tilt the steering wheel toward your breastbone. Do not tilt it toward your abdomen or toward your head and neck. Try to adjust your seat at least 10 inches away from the center of the steering wheel.
Do I have to finish the course in a certain amount of time? You must finish the Defensive Drivers course before your court deadline. Also give yourself plenty of time for processing by the court.
