Yes! In many states there is a teen/first-tie driver training course available. Check our site to see.

How do airbags work?
Airbags work by preventing your upper body from striking the steering wheel, dashboard and windshield in a head-on collision. Airbags will NOT deploy in most side-collisions, but side airbags are not as common as front airbags. A sensor is activated when the car strikes a solid object. This sensor sends an electric current, initiating a chemical release of non-toxic nitrogen gas that causes the airbag to inflate. The deployment is instantaneous and the airbag will deflate immediately, preventing the risk of suffocation.

What is the operation and conduct policy?
Our course provider says, No credit or completion will be given if the course is completed by anyone other than you or if you are assisted by an outside party. When you enroll in the course you are stating under penalty of perjury that you, and not another person, studied the material in its entirety and completed that chapter quizzes and the final exam. By registering for the course, you understand that is may be a felony to make false statements or to falsify documents submitted by the court.

Can I get an insurance discount if I am a senior driver?
Our course provider says, Yes! It varies by state who is allowed to take a course for an insurance discount. (In some state only mature drivers age 55 and over are eligible to receive an insurance discount by completing a course.) We definitely offer the insurance discount option in all the states in which we are approved.

Did you know?
Eight young people die every day in the U.S. in alcohol-related crashes.

Do I have to finish the course in a certain amount of time?
You must finish the Defensive Drivers course before your court deadline. Also give yourself plenty of time for processing by the court.

What is the course cancellation/refund policy?
Our course provider says, New York Users Only - A full refund will be made to any student who cancels the enrollment contract within 30 days of registering for the course and prior to attempting the final examination. The COURSE PROVIDER will terminate, without notice, the enrollment of any student who has not successfully completed the course within 30 days. All registration fees paid are due and refundable when the course of instruction is discontinued by the COURSE PROVIDER, preventing a student from completing the course, or the enrollment of the student was procured as a result of any misrepresentation in advertising, promotional materials of the COURSE PROVIDER, or representation made by the owner or employee of the COURSE PROVIDER. All refunds will be issued within 30 days following receipt of a permissible request for cancellation.

Why is it so important not to have rear-facing child safety seats in the front seat?
The force of nearly 3,000 pounds of pressure from a crash would thrust the child forward, crushing it between the safety seat and the back of the car seat. Never place a rear-facing child safety seat in the front seat of a vehicle equipped with a passenger-front airbag.
