How do I know if I am eligible for traffic school?
Check the paperwork sent to you by the court. It will explain your options for traffic school.

Did you know?
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), teenage drivers and passengers are among those least likely to wear their safety belts.

What is the testing and grading policy?
Our course provider says, Each chapter contains a quiz or quizzes that review important content from that chapter. The number of quizzes and quiz questions varies depending on your course. The quizzes do not affect your final exam score but will provide you with an excellent opportunity to master the course material. You also must take and pass a final exam upon completion of the course.

I do not see my county listed on your site, can I still take your traffic school?
No. Either the county court does not accept web-based traffic schools, or we are not yet approved in that county. Please see your court paperwork for your traffic school options and approved schools.

How old is too old to drive?

Why should I take a defensive driving course in Texas? Will it remove my speeding ticket?
The answer to the first question is: (1) it may keep your auto insurance rates from rising (if you qualify) and (2) you have the opportunity to learn about safe driving.

What credit cards do you accept? Can I use my debit card?
Our course providers says, You may submit payment using a credit card, bank debit card with a Visa or MasterCard logo, or a personal check through our secure server. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Traffic School Tip for VA
Adjust mirrors and seats before turning on the vehicle.

Traffic School Tip for VA
Truck and bus wheels spray a lot of rain and slush. When the road is wet, turn on your windshield wipers when approaching trucks and buses so you'll be able to see more clearly at all times.

Traffic School Tip for VA
Most new cars have air bags for front-seat passengers. When used with lap/shoulder belts, air bags work very well to protect older children and adults. Air bags do not work with rear-facing child seats (those used with infants). Airbags could seriously injure or even kill an unbuckled child or adult who is sitting too close to the air bag or who is thrown toward the dash during emergency braking. In a crash, the air bag inflates very quickly. It could hit anything close to the dashboard with enough force to cause severe injuries or even death. Because the back of a rear-facing child seat sits very close to the dashboard, the seat could be struck with enough force to cause serious, or even fatal injuries to a baby. Even older children (who have outgrown child seats) are at risk from a deploying air bag, if they are not properly restrained.

Traffic School Tip for VA
Per vehicle mile traveled in 1999, motorcyclists were about 18 times as likely as passenger car occupants to die in a motor vehicle traffic crash and 3 times as likely to be injured. (Source: Traffic Safety Facts 2000: Motorcycles, NHTSA)

Traffic School Tip for VA
TxDOT encourages football fans to have a game plan in place before kickoff. Designate a sober driver, take a cab or call a sober friend.

Traffic School Tip for VA
If you don't wear a seat belt, your chances of dying or being injured in a vehicle crash are much higher. In Virginia, 366 unrestrained people died in car crashes and 5,638 unbelted motorists were injured in 2008.

Traffic School Tip for VA
Solid white lines are used for pavement edge lines, shoulder markings, channelizing, transitions and lane use control. Crossing a solid white line should be avoided if possible. The solid yellow line on the left edge of the roadway is a guide to drivers that driving to the left of the yellow line is prohibited because the line is marking the left edge of the roadway. This type of yellow line can be found on interstate highways.
