What software do I need to take the course?
You need a working web browser that is connected to the Internet to take a defensive driving course. We support Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher, Netscape Navigator 6.0, AOL 4.0 and higher and most other browsers. There is no software to download and nothing saved to your hard drive. I am able to adjust the position of my steering wheel. Which position is most likely to minimize injury but provide the greatest protection from an airbag?
Tilt the steering wheel toward your breastbone. Do not tilt it toward your abdomen or toward your head and neck. Try to adjust your seat at least 10 inches away from the center of the steering wheel.

If I fail, what happens?
In most locations you can retake the final exam if you fail. The specifics depend upon your state's regulator agency.

How do I know if I am eligible for traffic school?
Check the paperwork sent to you by the court. It will explain your options for traffic school.

I paid the court my fee to attend traffic school. Why do you charge me again?
Most courts charge an administrative fee you that must pay to be allowed to attend a traffic school. That fee is separate from and in addition to our tuition.

What is the testing and grading policy?
Our course provider says, Each chapter contains a quiz or quizzes that review important content from that chapter. The number of quizzes and quiz questions varies depending on your course. The quizzes do not affect your final exam score but will provide you with an excellent opportunity to master the course material. You also must take and pass a final exam upon completion of the course.

Tip for GRACE, Idaho
When you?re an expectant mother, it?s important to always wear your seat belt to protect you and your unborn child. Wear the lap belt across your hips and below your belly with the shoulder belt across your chest (between your breasts). Once your baby is born, follow these important safety steps.

Tip for GRACE, Idaho
School buses don't have seat belts in them because they have a built-in occupant protection system known as compartmentalization, which is a system of seat height, seat length and padding, among other requirements. Compartmentalization is like an egg carton protecting a child.

Tip for GRACE, Idaho
If you've ever been passed on the wrong side, tailgated, cut off or hemmed in by another vehicle, you've been the victim of an aggressive driver. Drivers may be fined up to $200 for each moving violation associated with aggressive driving and could spend time in jail.

Tip for GRACE, Idaho
Tailgating is always dangerous, but tailgating a large truck or bus is especially dangerous. Not only does this reduce your ability to see what's happening on the road ahead, but the driver of the truck or bus can't see you. Keep a safe distance when following.

Tip for GRACE, Idaho
Texas driving tip: Watch for signs on Texas multi-lane highways that read Left Lane For Passing Only. These signs let you know that the left lane on a divided highway is not a fast lane; it is a passing lane.

Tip for GRACE, Idaho
Fatalities in traffic crashes in rural areas of the state accounted for 54.1% of the state?s traffic fatalities. There were 1,877 deaths in rural traffic crashes.

Tip for GRACE, Idaho
Further, the mean age of motorcyclists' fatalities has also increased from 29.3 years in 1990 to 36.3 years in 2001. The analysis also indicates a corresponding rise in the average age of motorcyclists killed and greater involvement of motorcycles with larger engines in fatal crashes.

Tip for GRACE, Idaho
Texas motorcycle safety tip: State law says motorcyclists must wear helmets, with two exceptions for riders 21 and older. No helmet is required if the rider: (1) Has successfully completed a motorcycle safety course, or (2) Has proof of health insurance with a minimum of $10,000 coverage for injuries resulting from a motorcycle crash.
