Did you know?
Eight young people die every day in the U.S. in alcohol-related crashes.

How do airbags work?
Airbags will deploy in most frontal collisions, however front airbags will most likely not deploy in side-collisions. Side airbags will deploy in most side-collisions but side airbags are not as common as front airbags.

When registering, do I select my home county?
Select the county in which you received your ticket.

What should I do if I am involved in an accident?
If there is damage to the vehicle, stop and exchange information. If someone is hurt, render aid and notify law enforcement. If you hit an unattended vehicle, find the driver or write your name and address on a note explaining what happened. You must also include the owner's name and address if the vehicle you are driving doesn't belong to you.

How do airbags work?
Airbags work by preventing your upper body from striking the steering wheel, dashboard and windshield in a head-on collision. Airbags will NOT deploy in most side-collisions, but side airbags are not as common as front airbags. A sensor is activated when the car strikes a solid object. This sensor sends an electric current, initiating a chemical release of non-toxic nitrogen gas that causes the airbag to inflate. The deployment is instantaneous and the airbag will deflate immediately, preventing the risk of suffocation.

What is the course cancellation/refund policy?

The COURSE PROVIDER will terminate, without notice, the enrollment of any student who has not successfully completed the course within 30 days. Tip for BURLINGTON, New Jersey
At high speeds on the freeway you will need extra room for braking. Keep in mind that on dry pavement at 55 mph it takes about 265 feet to bring your vehicle to a complete stop. On wet pavement that distance increases to 289 feet. At 65 mph the stopping distances shoot up to 344 feet on dry pavement and 378 on wet pavement. There were no deathless days on Texas roadways in 2008.

Tip for BURLINGTON, New Jersey
Since many motorcycles don't have windshields, riders must protect their eyes against insects, dirt, rocks, or other airborne matter. Even the wind can cause the eyes to tear and blur vision, and good vision is imperative when riding. Motorcycle operators should choose good quality goggles, glasses with plastic or safety lenses, or a helmet equipped with a face shield. Goggles, glasses, and face shields should be scratch free, shatterproof, and well-ventilated to prevent fog buildup. Only clear shields should be used at night since tinted shields reduce contrasts and make it more difficult to see. Even if the motorcycle has a windshield, eye protection is recommended.

Tip for BURLINGTON, New Jersey
By speeding, you won't reach your destination any faster, and you may not reach it at all. In 2008, there were 384 speed-related deaths and 21,423 speed-related injuries on Virginia's roadways.
