How do airbags work? Airbags work by preventing your upper body from striking the steering wheel, dashboard and windshield in a head-on collision. Airbags will NOT deploy in most side-collisions, but side airbags are not as common as front airbags. A sensor is activated when the car strikes a solid object. This sensor sends an electric current, initiating a chemical release of non-toxic nitrogen gas that causes the airbag to inflate. The deployment is instantaneous and the airbag will deflate immediately, preventing the risk of suffocation.
What is the testing and grading policy? Our course provider says, Each chapter contains a quiz or quizzes that review important content from that chapter. The number of quizzes and quiz questions varies depending on your course. The quizzes do not affect your final exam score but will provide you with an excellent opportunity to master the course material. You also must take and pass a final exam upon completion of the course.
How long does the course take? The time it takes varies from person to person. A determined student who studies the material and takes notes can finish fairly quickly. But many students choose to spread the course out over a week or more. Rest assured you can follow whatever method works for your schedule. But give yourself plenty of time to pass the final exam prior to your court deadline!
Did you know? If you close your eyes for just one second at 60 mph, you will travel 88 feet.

Tip for MAPLE, Texas Texas driving tip: Observing speed limits means more than driving faster or slower than the posted speed: it means driving to conditions. Tip for MAPLE, Texas For the best possible protection keep infants in the back seat, in rear-facing child safety seats, as long as possible up to the height or weight limit of the particular seat. At a minimum, keep infants rear-facing until a minimum of age 1 and at least 20 pounds.
Tip for MAPLE, Texas Once children outgrow their forward-facing seats (usually around age 4 and 40 pounds), they should ride in booster seats, in the back seat, until the vehicle seat belts fit properly. Seat belts fit properly when the lap belt lays across the upper thighs and the shoulder belt fits across the chest (usually at age 8 or when they are 4?9? tall).
